The Trainer
Norma Richards has an amazing talent to access a rider's ability and a horse's talent. Her knowledge and enthusiasm make riding under her direction incredibly productive and enjoyable. Instructions are always clear and supportive.
Norma is a certified instructor for USHJA.

"From those of us who have been blessed enough to train with Norma over the years you will hear stories full of smiling, sweaty, summer camps; shows when our horse was a dream and shows when our horse was a dragon; lessons when (despite her telling us to sit up) we leaned out at a jump and landed on our backside—all of those stories are full of laughter, friendship, learning, and most of all the love of the horse.
It is that love of horses that resonates through all the anecdotes. Norma appreciates each horse as an individual- not for their price tag or breeding. She loves them for their quirky personalities, their faithful hearts, and their mercy as they carry us over obstacles they could just as easily run around.
Norma will make you a better rider, she will help you maximize your horse’s potential and she will do it with an unrivaled passion for horses and the sport. What more could you ask for?"
Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of Solitaire. It is a grand passion.
